Join Potter Heather Gilbert for a Raku session which will include western style raku glaze firings, naked raku and horse hair and feather firings. Fired pieces will be ready to collect the following week.

An information sheet with hints for a successful firing will be available for attendees at their current class. The Raku day is a wonderful experience and social atmosphere and a chance to share in a real ceramic community experience and meet potters from our various classes.

Students will have the full experience and community spirit of a Raku firing, this includes helping with the set up and take down of the Raku equipment which is part of the day and included in the timings and a requirement of all participants.

This workshop is only for adults aged 18+.
