Join Edinburgh based Bookbinder Cass Barron to create your own handbound needle book using remnant leather and fabric.
A fun project with lots of opportunity to personalise and learn some nifty upcycling techniques, including making handmade buttons and a pleated fastening. You'll leave the workshop with a functional and fabulous needle book, the skills to make more at home and transfer what you have learnt to making handbound sketchbooks as well!
All materials are provided and follow up video instructions that you can refer to for a reminder of the process should you want to carry on making after the workshop - these books make great gifts for crafty loved ones .
