Mixed-Media Mosaic Workshop

You'll be creating mixed-media mosaics using a mix of coloured glass and upcycled materials on slate. Choose your own motif to work from… a house number, a favourite flower, an initial or something else – you decide! You'll be able to make one or two mosaics depending on the complexity of your designs. As it's approaching gifting season, you might even like to make a gift for someone special.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and intermediate levels. So whether you're brand new to mosaics, or if you've been to a previous workshop and would like to further develop your skills, you're very welcome! You'll learn about the materials suitable for exterior mosaics plus how to use tools to cut mosaics and glass, and you'll grout your mosaic. It's a relaxed atmosphere where, not only will you develop or hone your mosaic skills, but you'll also have an enjoyable day out. Come alone or bring a friend - we always have a mixture of both - and you'll be very welcome either way.
