Micro-casting with Glass using the Freeze and Fuse Method with Rachel Elliott

Rachel will guide you to make a handful of colourful cast glass pieces from the myriad of moulds available, whilst learning the technical considerations of this technique. She’ll also cover what you could do with these pieces, from basic finishing into jewellery or as greeting card toppers, adding to larger fused glass projects or embedding into mosaic projects, and more.

This experience is suitable for all levels of experience and confidence in making. There is no cutting or sharp things involved as we sedately poke glass powder into place. All tools and materials are provided, although you are welcome to bring your own things if you would like to know if they are suitable.

All your pieces will be fired and posted back out to you. Postage is included in the workshop fee.
