Langholm: Textile Town: Past | Present | Future

Creation Mill CIC is hosting an exhibition: Langholm: Textile Town: celebrating everything Textiles from the past, the present and the future including art, history, technology and more. You will be able see sample boards and order books from years gone by amongst other items, methods used both old and new, and how the textile industry is being revitalised.

There will be tours, screenings and workshops to enjoy alongside the exhibition (bookable via our website), you can visit our Scrap Store which is stocked full of fabrics, yarn and haberdashery which has been donated to us from the textile industry and local individuals saving it from going to landfill, and our gift shop will be open stocked with items made the by the Creation Mill Makers and local Artisans.

Creation Mill will be celebrating local textiles thanks to funding from the Dumfries and Galloway Council Cultural Fund.
