Contemporary silversmithing exhibition, ‘New Traditions,’ a unique event showcasing the latest works of silversmiths Hannah Keddie, Katie Watson, and Scott Smith, the first cohort of tenants at The Marchmont Silversmithing Workshop.

This exhibition marks the midpoint of our residency at the Marchmont Silversmithing Workshop, offering a moment to reflect on our evolving journey as tenants and the development of our craft through exploration, experimentation, and creation.

This event offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the journey of these talented makers as they document their process of investigation, development, and exploration through making. From work-in-progress maquettes and samples to fully realised pieces made from 2024 onwards, you'll gain insight into the evolution of their craft and the honing of their techniques.
