Since the start of the year I have been working in collaboration with ceramicist Frances Ross, combining wood with clay to make sculptural forms.

These candlesticks are a collaboration with ceramicist Frances Ross (Frances Ross Makes), also based in Dumfries and Galloway. The 'eye' candle cup is made from opal glazed architectural clay and is one element of our recent collaborative work.

A playful collaboration inspired by the surrealist 'exquisite corpses' whereby Frances makes the ceramic element and I then make the wooden parts to complete the piece.
