Tafoni Variations #3 & #4

Inspired by a hunt for agates on the rocks and shores of the River Tay. This silver brooch and kilt pin each have saw-pierced ‘tafoni’, a natural formation created by erosion, and a freeform cabochon of carnelian and green moss agate set in 9ct yellow gold.

Bespoke Stacked Wedding Rings

Two pairs of bespoke stacked rings, designed as alternative wedding rings…why have one when you have three! They can be worn in multiple combinations, all at once, or one or two at a time. Made from silver and 9ct rose gold with a mix of geology inspired textures and finishes.

Delta Echo Lapel Pins

Description - A trio of eye-catching geometric lapel pins in oxidised silver with burnished bright edges. Inspired by the architecture of Kengo Kuma’s V&A Dundee building, which itself was inspired by the Arbroath Cliffs. This mirrors Islay's own fascination with abstracting organic forms and finding geometric structures in landscapes.

Valle Gran Rey Kilt Pin

A bespoke Kilt Pin featuring a view of the wearers favourite holiday destination, carved from sterling silver with a hardwood sea, a nod to his job as a carpenter. Made as a gift for a special birthday, the date of which is marked out in notches and lines using Islay’s trademark date notched system.

Wandering through nature and mind, a journey round and through, twisting and tangling, an agate found in rocky reverie at the centre. Formed from sterling silver, oxidised and burnished, set with a smoothly faceted moss agate.
