Exobum

Exobum is an assemblage piece featuring an engraved copper body with a vitreous enamel panel and two appendages - a bezel set onyx and a silver bum.<br>This brooch was created for and featured in the '100 Jewels by 100 Women' exhibition in 2021.

Hue-man

Hand-engraved surface decoration follows a silhouette of a man and creates a sense of movement due to its catching light. It is paired with a dark oxidised plane featuring rhythmic perforations that reveal the background. The abstract curves and decoration in the vitreous enamel panel suggest a continuity of both the shape of a man and the repetitive pattern. More importantly, the central panel is a window to a world in technicolour.

Almond and Peach

First in a new series of works, Almond and Peach tries to capture the sense of present life.<br>It contrasts modern 3D printed components with carefully crafted parts using more traditional silversmithing techniques, such as engraving, press-forming and riveting. The forms used in this brooch are intentionally ambiguous, causing unease.

OVO brooch

One in a series of 4, the OVO brooch features a hand-engraved swirl pattern that catches the light from all angles causing a shimmer effect surrounding the protruding egg shape.

OD double-ring

Crafted in a recycled 9ct gold OD double ring features two linked halo bands. A versatile design that can be worn in a variety of ways including across two fingers.

XO bracelet and earrings

This collection revolves around an XO, the central element blending art, design and technology. <br>XO is a charm that combines two symbols - the cross and circle, superimposed to create an abstract, 3D representation of a contemporary talisman. The design is inspired by the Bauhaus movement, which sought to synthesise art and craftsmanship with industrial production. It's a modern token for your modern life.
