Rabih Hage Bursary for Creative Talent

Apply now for the 2025 Rabih Hage Bursary, supporting emerging Designers and Makers.

Closing date: 21 Feb 2025

Launching in Spring 2025, the ‘Rabih Hage Bursary’ finds its origins in the creative sensibility of Architect and Interior Designer Rabih Hage, a longstanding and recognised supporter of emerging creative talent.

An annual programme of mentorship and financial support is designed to promote the next generation of Designers and Makers, The ‘Rabih Hage Bursary’ will help its recipients gain traction across an established network of collectors, patrons, galleries and the wider creative industry.

The specific aim of The ‘Rabih Hage Bursary’ is to offer opportunities to individuals from both the UK and further afield. The Bursary is focused on promoting diversity and inclusion, seeking out those most in need of support. The Bursary aims to enable the recipient to complete a body of work, which will then be publicly presented.

‘The objectives of the bursary are to invest in, and support its recipients in finding a meaningful and commercially sustainable path to career success and creative business development’ Rabih Hage

The Rabih Hage Bursary will cover the areas of Design and Craft and begins with a focus on Craft and Making, in 2025.

A Jury of experts alongside Rabih Hage, will be responsible for selecting the first recipient of The ‘Rabih Hage Bursary’. A shortlist will be made public in April and the winner announced in May 2025. The final body of work will be presented in London, in October 2025.

The Rabih Hage Bursary includes:

  • Financial support of £5000 per recipient
  • Brainstorming / workshop sessions with the Rabih Hage Studio
  • Networking opportunities with specialists by discipline – experts, galleries, fabricators, curators and collectors
  • Marketing and promotion of final body of work, through a group show, personal exhibition, or collaboration with an institution
  • Promotion on social media channels and the various platforms of relevant partners
