The Contemporary Glass Society (CGS) is pleased to once again collaborate with London Glassblowing in 2025 for the Mirage Exhibition. Glass artists from across the UK and beyond are invited to submit their most captivating and innovative pieces that explore the visual illusions achievable through the medium of glass. The exhibition aims to showcase the magic and mystery of glass, featuring works that manipulate form, colour, and light to challenge viewers' perceptions.
Peter Layton of London Glassblowing, a founding member of CGS, remains a guiding influence and one of the leading promoters of contemporary glass in the UK. CGS greatly appreciates his ongoing support as the next exhibition launches at London Glassblowing under the theme MIRAGE.
Artists based in the UK, if selected, will have the opportunity to exhibit at the London Glassblowing Gallery and be featured in the exhibition’s online catalogue. Overseas artists are also encouraged to apply for inclusion in the online catalogue, which will be promoted to the gallery’s extensive network of collectors, the CGS website, and social media channels.
