Crafts Council's Makers Survey

Makers! Complete Crafts Council's biennial survey and help shape their work

Closing date: 23 Sep 2024

Crafts Council's Maker's Survey explores makers’ involvement in the craft community and the support they need to build successful craft practices.

The survey asks questions to understand makers' experiences in accessing the opportunities needed to start and build a successful craft practice, from funding and education to selling and promoting their work. This helps Crafts Council identify where makers may need specific support and where they should focus their advocacy efforts.

Who can take part?

If you identify as a maker of craft, Crafts Council invites you to complete the survey. Whether you’re a hobbyist crafter looking to sell work, you make some or all of your income from craft, or you run an established craft business, they want to know more about your needs and the work you are doing.
