During the course, we will cover the fundamentals of enamelling and some of the basic techniques to get you started on your enamelling journey. We will cover sifting, sgraffito, stencilling, stamping, graphite, and the use of decorative solid glass. You will also be shown how to achieve different surface finishes that are possible with enamel.
This introductory course allows you to get to grips with the process of enamelling, and to experiment with how the different techniques work. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with an understanding of how to use enamel, a series of samples and test pieces, and a finished pair of earrings or a pendant. Perfect for a self-treat or a lovely gift.
