Lecturing & Talks
Soizig is currently a visiting lecturer and tutor at Edinburgh College of art, and has previously given talks at institutions including Glasgow School of Art, the National Museum of Scotland, Dovecot Studios and New York Jewellery Week.
Curating
Soizig has previously curated and produced exhibitions and projects in craft and print, at DIY galleries and spaces including the Briggait, the Glue Factory and Good Press Gallery.
Ongoing key works include 'Muse Not Maker’ an existing collaborative project devised by illustrator Alice Dansey-Wright and Soizig, responding to themes of archetypes in art, art & feminism, art/ design crossover, accessibility and the status of women in art and cultural activism. It is a collection of wearable art, set design and provocations (readings, performances and events). Muse Not Maker invites open and playful collaboration in art and design by, for and with women.
