Elin Isaksson is an Award winning glass artist based in Dunblane. She graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006 with an MA in Design & Applied Arts and she is now teaching glassblowing classes and producing her work from her own studio. Elin began her glass blowing training at the Orrefors Glass School in Sweden learning traditional glass blowing techniques, which still influence her designs today. Further education includes apprenticeships and master classes in France, Italy and UK. Her inspiration comes from the play of light, texture and movement in nature and she aim to capture a small detail or an atmosphere rather than reproduce a direct likeness of an object or form. Elin mainly uses the glassblowing technique to achieve her elegant and tactile forms in subtle colour blends.

She stock her production work in many galleries Scotland and Northern England, she also offers bespoke objects and installations in glass. Previous clients are amongst Edinburgh University, National Museum of Scotland and Standard Life.

In 2024 Elin was commissioned to design and create the Scottish Album of the Year Awards and she was also selected into the Homo Faber Guide, for her craft excellence in glass blowing
