Sollas Bookbinding

I run an artisan bookbinding studio in North Uist in the Outer Hebrides. I love adhering to traditional bookbinding techniques, having learned from master binders in both Germany and the UK and teaching myself continuously to develop my practice to answer bespoke customer requirements, whilst at the same time exploring and developing new approaches to binding books. It has been my aim over the years to develop a body of work that is distinctively me by placing my work firmly in the context of the island world that sourrounds me.
