This open call aims to harness the jewellry medium to convey a message of peace.
Closing date: 1 Feb 2025
The Wearhouse aims to use jewellry to convey a message of peace, showcasing pieces worn on the body and messages spread in the streets to make art an active presence in society. By cultivating society through art, it seeks to demonstrate the power of peace as a shield against societal chaos and inspire hope for a better tomorrow.
The exhibition Piece of Peace will be held in two locations in the spring. It will start at Munich Jewelry Week from March 12 to 15, 2025, and then move to a second display at the WearHouse, a brand-new jewellry initiative in Amsterdam.
The exhibition and the open call are curated and organized by Daniel Jirkovsky and Yotam Bahat, two artists located in Amsterdam and the founders of the WearHouse.
