In 2024, GNCCF will expand with a new summer event in Newcastle while continuing its flagship fair in Manchester and offering the accessible GNCCFonline Gift Edition.
GNCCF Newcastle will be held at Northumbria University from 20–22 June, featuring around 140 makers exhibiting in white exhibition stands.
GNCCF Manchester will return to Victoria Baths for its 18th edition from 16–19 October. Featuring over 150 exhibitors, it remains a key date in the UK craft calendar, drawing a loyal audience of buyers and collectors. In addition to white shell stands, affordable table-top options for new makers will be available on the upstairs balcony.
GNCCFonline Gift Edition, taking place on 29–30 November, offers an affordable and accessible platform under the esteemed GNCCF brand. Promoted extensively to mailing lists and social media followers, it is ideal for showcasing unique Christmas gifts. Emerging makers and those unable to attend physical fairs can leverage this platform, and it serves as an excellent follow-up opportunity for makers from the Newcastle and Manchester events.
Exhibitors are selected for their excellence by a panel of craft experts based on submitted images. GNCCF takes no commission on sales.
Organised by the not-for-profit Great Northern Events and supported by Arts Council England, GNCCF champions the best of contemporary craft, with public funding from the National Lottery.
